今回は、海外のコリンファンのツイッターを見ていて、たまたま見つけた古いインタビュー記事を翻訳してみました。
2016年にイギリスのエンタメ情報誌「Radio Times」に掲載されていた小ネタです。
スーパーパワーやスーパーヒーローに纏わる質問を、色んな俳優に投げかけるという企画っぽい？！
コリンのスウィートな回答にほっこりします。

どんなスーパーパワーが欲しい？
The ability to fly would be fantastic! I had a little taste of what it would be like on holiday in Costa Rica. I went on a zip line. Superman style. Where I was facing down, and I think it’s the closest you can get to flight - It was phenomenal.
空を飛べる能力があったらいいですね！
僕はコスタリカで休暇を過ごした時に、少しそれっぽい体験をしました。
ジップラインに乗ったんです。スーパーマンスタイルで、下を向いて、これは空を飛ぶのに一番近い姿だと思います。凄かったです。
As a superhero, what in justice would you fight?
スーパーヒーローだったら、正義のために何と戦いたい？
The thought of anything happening to children or animals really gets on me. So if, as a superhero, I could tune in to the cry of children and animals and then fly to the rescue and take them somewhere safe. That would be amazing.
子どもや動物に何かあったらと思うと、とても気がかりです。
なので、もし、スーパーヒーローだったら、泣いている子どもや動物を見つけたら助けに飛んで行って、どこか安全な場所に連れて行きます。素晴らしいことです。

I guess pursuing my dream of being an actor. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare when their kid walks in and says they want to be an actor. I got a little pat on the head and was told. “Now back to the real world.” But I was never a child of the real world!
俳優になりたいという夢を追いかけること、かな。
どんな親でも、自分の子どもが俳優になりたいと言ってくることほど悪夢はありません。
僕は頭を撫でられ、言われました、「さあ、現実の世界に戻って」と。
でも、僕は現実世界の子どもでは決してなかったです！
